I told you I was in the Autumn themed swap with Vicki, well my parcel went off on Wednesday. It's quite a difficult theme if you take it literally and so go for pressed leaves and a conker necklace.
I decided to include things that would cheer up autumn, enhance it if you will. Like these mittens. For keeping cosy... now that we're having an unseasonal heatwave! But hey, it's England, they'll be needed sooner or later.
The pattern is a vintage one and I just made the little flowers to add a little something extra. Of course mittens will keep her hands warm, but what about heat loss through unattended collars?
For a cosy neck a scarf is just the ticket. Details of both are on my Ravelry and I added a button for this on the sidebar. I make that sound as if it was easy... what a palaver (and only myself to blame). You'll need a sign on to see the content, but it's a very easy process and you don't have to add projects yourself, unless you want to of course.
I did check with Vicki what colours she was fond of, so I hope these won't disappoint. Oh, and she knows not to read today if the parcel hasn't arrived yet. Snort. Like it'll get there in three days...
